"The Trap" si farà, nonostante il regista avesse espresso dei dubbi. Secondo quanto comunicato su Twitter dalla casa di produzione del film, le riprese di "The Trap" inizieranno a maggio a Miami. Inoltre, la casa di produzione ha diffuso la trama del film. / "The Trap" will be released, despite the director doubts. The filming of "The Trap" will begin in May in Miami, according the Twitter account of the production company.

SINOSSI / SYNOPSIS
Il film racconta la storia di Rico (Idris Elba), uomo al top della propria carriera che sta per godersi una serata ai Grammys. Tuttavia Slim (Del Toro), suo ex amico appena uscito di galera dopo 14 anni, medita vendetta. Per portare a termine il suo piano contro Rico, Slim arruolerà un esercito di surfisti armati di Uzi, capitanato da Max (Robert Pattinson). / The movie tells the story of Rico (Idris Elba), a man at the top of his career, that he's going to enjoy an evening at the Grammy's. However Slim (Del Toro), his former friend, just got out of jail after 14 years, wants revenge. To implement his plan against Rico, Slim enlist an army of surfers armed of Uzi, led by Max (Robert Pattinson).
