Tra meno di dieci giorni inizierò il mixaggio. Le riprese e il montaggio sono terminati e dovrei essere in grado di terminare il film nei primi giorni di dicembre. Non so dove o quando il film verrà mostrato per la prima volta.

Tutti volevano davvero lavorare con me. Mi è stato chiesto perchè ho scelto Pattinson. Non è una grande parte, ed è abbinato perfettamente. Avevo bisogno di un uomo inglese che sembra ancora un ragazzino ma che è molto intelligente. Lui interpreta Lawrence D'Arabia, ma all'età di 22 anni, su un sito archeologico. La Kidman, che interpreta il ruolo principale si chiede che cosa ha a che fare quel ragazzo con un posto come qesto, e un archeologo le dice che quel ragazzo ha un dottorato di ricerca. Pattinson è davvero buono in quel ruolo. E' un uomo intelligente e la scelta è stata del tutto naturale.

They all really wanted to work with me. I was asked why I chose Pattinson. It's not a big part, and it matched perfectly. I needed an englishman who still looks like a schoolboy but which is very smart. He plays Lawrence of Arabia, but at the age of 22, on an archeological site. Kidman, who plays the main role is wondering what that kid has to do in a place like this, and an archeologist tells her that this kid has a PhD.
Pattinson is really good in that role. He is a smart man and the choice was quite natural.
