Questo è stato un anno abbastanza tranquillo, pieno di lavoro. Detto questo, ho girato uno dei film più intensi che abbia mai fatto - "The Rover" di David Michod (gennaio - marzo) con Rob Pattinson. Personalmente, penso che il film sia sorprendente. David è un regista unico e il film è estremamente suggestivo. Abbiamo anche fatto il nostro terzo film TV Jack Irish - "Black Tide" (giugno - luglio), ma a parte che ho avuto modo di trascorrere del tempo a casa in studio per cercare di finire le canzoni a cui ho lavorato per un pò. / This was a pretty quiet year, work-wise. Having said that, I did do one of the most intense films I've ever done – David Michod's "The Rover" (Jan – March) with Rob Pattinson. Personally, I think the film's amazing. David's a unique director and the film is extremely evocative. We also did our third Jack Irish TV movie – "Black Tide" (June - July) but apart from that I got to spend time at home in the studio to try and finish the songs I've been working on for a while.
"The Rover" è stato un progetto affascinante ed era irreale lavorare con David dopo Animal Kingdom. Ottimo per vedere Rob in azione troppo. La sua performance è assolutamente brillante e straziante. / The Rover was a fascinating project and it was unreal to work with David again after Animal Kingdom. Great to see Rob in action too. His performance is utterly brilliant and heartbreaking.
