Probabilmente trasferirmi a Los Angeles è stata la cosa che ci ha catapultati tutti nelle stanze da pranzo e nelle menti e nella nostra carriera per la maggior parte. That and I think probably buying a house because I think it was really kind of like a rite of passage being able to do that, to provide for yourself and live on your own is a very special thing. My dad is really proud so that was a big moment.

All'inizio è stato un pò intimidatorio perchè era ... un pò del casto di SNL e loro sono i geni della commedia, quindi stavo testando le acque, ma è stato davvero davvero divertente. Era pazzesco perchè penso di essere stata condizionata a fare qualcosa come SNL, tutto era in aria, c'erano nuove idee, ma è stato davvero divertente il modo di filmare qualcosa che io non avevo mai sperimentato prima e ho incontrato persone come Bobby Moynihan che guardo sempre su SNL, quindi è stato davvero divertente. / It was at first a bit intimidating because it was ... a lot of the SNL cast and they're all comedic geniuses so I was kind of testing the waters but it was really really fun. It was crazy because I think being conditioned to do something like SNL, everything was up in the air, there were new ideas but it was a really fun way of filming something that I hadn't really experienced before and I got to meet people like Bobby Moynihan who I always watch on SNL so it was really fun.
Come sei arrivata ad interessarti di ristrutturazioni della casa? / How did you get interested in home renovation?
Credo il fatto di essere cresciuta con mio padre che è un tuttofare e che ha costruito gran parte della nostra prima casa, quindi lui ha insegnato a mio fratello e me un sacco delle cose che sappiamo. E molte delle cose che so, gli uomini a LA non sanno farle, mio fratello sa come fare. Derivava da lì e penso che HGTV è stato un enorme sostenitore di persone che ristrutturano case e che imparano cosa comprare e cosa dovresti o non dovresti fare. Quindi sono diventata ossessionata con HGTV e Property Brothers e tutta quella roba. / I guess really well my dad growing up is a jack of all trades and pretty much built our first house so he taught me and my brother a lot of things that we know. And a lot of things I feel most men don’t know how to do in LA, my brother knows how to do. It kind of stemmed from there and I think HGTV has been a huge advocate in having people take on home renovations and kind of learning what it takes and what you should do and shouldn’t do and what works and doesn’t work. So I then became obsessed with HGTV and “Property Brothers” and all that stuff.
Come usi i prodotti Mastro Lindo nella tua routine quotidiana? / How do you use Mr. Clean products in your day-to-day cleaning routine?
La Gomma Magica è probabilmente la mia preferita perchè è molto semplice da usare e funziona su ogni superficie. Penso che per i muri sia il mio preferito perchè ho delle mura putturare di chiaro e ho sempre persone in casa e quattro cani e non importa come tutto sia pulito, quando vedi quelle macchie sulle mura e vorresti mettere le persone fuori per un pò. Perfino in cucina in cui ho delle applicazioni di acciaio inossidabile, quindi probabilmente è quello che uso di più. / The Magic Eraser is probably my favorite because it’s super easy to use and it works on almost every surface. The walls I think is my favorite because I have lighter color walls and I always have people over and I have four dogs and no matter how clean everything is when you see those smudges on the walls and light fixtures it puts people off a little bit. Even in the kitchen I have stainless steel appliances so it’s probably the one I use the most.

Sto filmando una serie TV chiamata "Rogue" per DirectTV, quindi attualmente è in onda ora e sto incoraggiando chiunque a vederla, anche se i miei episodi andranno in onda la prossima primavera, deve raggiungere le persone perchè il uno spettacolo pazzesco. Ha un sacco di colpi di scena e cambiamenti, scritta molto bene e molto veloce, quindi sono davvero eccitata di vedere come le persone risponderanno al personaggio che interpreto. Lei è un jolly. Lei è completamente differente. / I am filming a TV show called "Rogue" right now for DirectTV so it's actually airing now and I’m encouraging everyone to watch so by the time my episodes air next Spring people are caught up because it's a crazy show. It has a lot of twists and turns, very well-written and very fast-paced so I'm really excited to see how people respond to the character I'm playing. She's a wildcard. She's definitely different.
